The master is divided into two blocks:
- The contents in Sciences applied to the material part of the Architectural Heritage. Master in Structures
This Master is oriented to a part of the technical-scientific knowledge within the scope of structural engineering, for its application in the civil works and building, in its aspects of:
- Dynamic and seismic behavior,
- Reliability, quality and structural damage,
- Advanced techniques and models for metal and concrete structures.
Objective of the Master's and Competences
The subjects covered in this title receive scarce attention in the current degree titles, since they are advanced content. However, the interest of the proposed title is increasingly greater, given the increasing demand for structural quality in relation to vibrations, deformations, and seismic behavior, both in new building and in maintenance, repair, renovation and reconditioning of existing structures . Master in Acoustic Engineering
The Official Master in Acoustic Engineering is an official interuniversity master's degree between the Universities of Granada and Cadiz. In each university, the master is composed of three modules, the common module, a specialty module and the application module. In Granada is taught the specialty of Architectural Acoustics and in Cadiz the one of Acústica Ambiental. In the course 2014/2015 can be taken at the University of Granada the Architectural Acoustics specialty of the Interuniversity Master in Acoustic Engineering. The classes will be taught in the Advanced Technical School for Building Engineering.
Objectives of the Master and Competences
The objective of the Master is to train first level professionals in the field of acoustics, which enables them to develop their professional activity in tasks related to the development, application and research of acoustic technology. In such a way that they are able to face the development that in the last decades has had the acoustic science by its progressive linkage to the technological processes related to the progress of science and its application to the most varied and diverse facets of social and human development .With a professional orientation, it allows access to doctoral studies, through seminars that complement the training of students in the field of research.
The Specific Module of Environmental and Industrial Acoustics will train students to achieve technical training in noise and vibration. The student will be able to acquire the necessary knowledge to be able to immediately join the world of work with a deep knowledge of the different branches that integrate acoustics, develop his own business initiative in the sector, develop and manage acoustic projects, optimize the integration of criteria for evaluation and management of environmental and industrial noise in urban development projects and their action plans. The specific Architectural Acoustics Module will provide students with the necessary knowledge to develop and manage architectural acoustics projects in a complex and changing environment, to evaluate the acoustic viability of new business projects in the field of global enclosure design and quality indices in building and studies in rooms, taking into account technological, economic and administrative factors, to evaluate the values of soundproofing and comfort in the building.
At the end of the program, the student will have acquired the integration of knowledge from different disciplines: legal, technical, scientific and environmental and certain transversal learning abilities; Initiative, entrepreneurial spirit, decision making, leadership skills, leadership and teamwork to search and analyze information from different sources, conflict resolution.

Master in Management and Integral Security in Building
The Master's Degree in Management and Integral Security in Building aims specifically to significantly improve the initial training on the management of construction processes and their safety.
After completing the studies of this Master's Degree, at least the following basic competences will be guaranteed: Ability to administratively and economically manage the construction processes; Ability to carry out Plans and Studies of Business Viability and Prevention, Safety and Health in Construction; Qualification to carry out the Coordination of Prevention, Safety and Health in Construction works.
Those who carry out the research itinerary will also be competent to address the research phase that will lead them to the realization of the Doctoral Thesis Report within the lines of research linked to these studies.

Master in Occupational Risks Prevention
Occupational Risk Prevention is the sum of all actions and measures that aim to prevent, eliminate or, where appropriate, minimize the risks that are or may be present in the work activity.
This Master will equip the student with the necessary knowledge for the correct performance of the functions of Higher Level in Occupational Risks Prevention, in the Specialties of Safety in the Work, Industrial Hygiene and Ergonomics - Applied Psicosociology, regulated in Royal Decree 39 / 1997 by which the Regulation of Prevention Services is developed.
The studies that make up the Master's program consist of 90 ECTS credits, which are grouped in the three Specialties and structured in subjects with theoretical and practical contents, also including the performance of internship in companies or institutions, and the corresponding Master´s thesis.
The Master's curriculum contains a detailed and exhaustive list of each and every one of the requirements and requirements of Annex VI of RD 39/1997 of January 17, which approves the Regulation of Prevention Services. In addition, other aspects of interest related to environmental and quality management, the auditing system, etc., following the guidelines promoted by the Ministry of Employment of the Regional Government of Andalusia and the National Institute of Health and Safety at Work.
